--Halloween at our house is full of tradition and fun. It's not my favorite holiday but I really tried to "chill-out" and enjoy it a little more this year, even though I had to dress the kids four times in their costumes this year-but never mind that. We started out the week making dinner in a pumpkin and transforming our pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns. As you can see we had some very serious artists that made some fun creations.
It tasted a lot better than it looks.

We had several parties during week including a primary carnival, preschool party for Olivia and Bronson, Paxton's 2nd grade party, Grandpa Jones' 70th birthday party, Caylee had a party with friends, and of course we had the Halloween night activities. Ever since I can remember it has been a tradition to go to my grandma and grandpa Wintle's home to go trick-or-treating, take pictures, and see everyone's costumes. My grandpa rakes all the leaves and makes a huge pile for the kids to play in and they totally enjoy and look forward to this.

I can't explain her costume or her pose...I don't think she could either.

On Halloween Night we also have a long-standing tradition of going to Mtn. Green. Grandma makes taco soup, salad, and rolls for dinner to warm the trick-or-treaters up before they head out into the neighborhood. By this time I was done with taking pictures and so were my kids...so no pictures but we sure had a great time. The grandkids love going trick-or-treating together and then coming back to the house to see what treasures they got. We had a wonderful and safe Halloween this year and can't wait till next year... (at least the kids can't).
Mom that is amazing!!
